Ongoing Support for the Church

Each of us is called to worship God with our entire life, including our time, talents and resources. Sharing those resources is an important way to worship the Giver of all good things. We pledge to be good stewards of your gifts, taking great care in how we manage and track the resources entrusted to us. Our annual financial report helps you evaluate how we’re doing.

Giving Methods

You may make your gifts in a variety of forms. We can receive gifts made under the gift aid scheme. If you need a Gift aid form please contact the Parish Administrator, Mrs Erin Hill.

Freewill Offering

To give regular recorded gifts you can put cash or cheques into Freewill offering envelopes. These are pre numbered envelopes available for a year. If you require Freewill offering envelopes please contact the Parish Administrator, Mrs Erin Hill

Cash & Cheques

You can give cash during Sunday-morning worship services.

Direct Deposit

Simplify your giving by authorising an automated transfer of funds (standing order) for your regular giving to The Church of the Holy Name transferring from your bank account directly to the church account. Simply fill out a Standing Order form available from the Parish Administrator, Mrs Erin Hill . Once we receive your form, we will contact you to confirm the information. You may discontinue the debits at any time.

Gifts of Stocks and Shares

Stocks and shares may be donated to The Church of the Holy Name by transferring investments to us. Please let our Parish Administrator, Mrs Erin Hill know about any pending transfers so that we will be aware of any activity and handle it properly.

Bequests

You can leave gifts in your will to The Church of the Holy Name, which under current HMRC rules may reduce your Inheritance Tax liability. Speak to a solicitor or our minister Rev Dr. Isobel Hawthorne Steel for more information.
