Getting connected at Greenisland Church of Ireland is about relationships that get beneath the surface. That kind of relationship won’t come by simply attending worship services. Whether kids or adults, all of us need time each week with people who can get to know us personally, share life with us, and encourage us to pursue Jesus Christ.
Monday 8pm.The Home Group is a time to connect in a smaller group setting, developing a deeper relationship with God and friendship through Bible study, prayer and fellowship.
On Tuesday evening 8pm we meet in the upstairs youth room in the church hall. We begin with refreshments and then study a bible passage to help us to grow in our Christian faith.
An opportunity to come together monthly for fellowship and friendship that encourages and strengthens our faith. The Open Door Club is held monthly (4th Thursday at 2.30pm) and starts with worship, followed by refreshments in the parish centre. A warm welcome is guaranteed.
Wednesday at 2.00pm and alternative Wednesday evenings at 7.00pm. Beginners welcome.
A Greenisland Church of Ireland community project, which aims to provide an accessible and safe place for young and elderly alike to meet. The Well is a drop in centre, consisting of a meeting room, quiet room, office and toilets located beside the waiting room at Greenisland Train Station.
Held every Sunday during the normal service, children up to 11 are able to attend. For older children a Bible class also runs alongside.
Eat 'n' Mess
On the 4th Sunday of the month Eat ‘n Mess is an opportunity for the different generations of family to come together. It is fun and relaxed time in which we use art, craft, cooking, puppets and singing to explain the Christian faith. We finish with having some food togther.
Uplift is a Christian performing arts company who strive to teach the highest quality of performing arts in Northern Ireland whilst maintaining a massive degree of fun.
We are Uplift run weekly sessions in our Parish Centre. These Wednesday afternoons cater for children and young people aged 3-18 with age-related sessions between 3pm-6pm.
3.30-4.30pm - 3 to 6 years olds
4.30-5.30pm - 7 to 9 years olds
5.30-6.30pm – 10 years and up!
