What to expect at Sunday Services
Worship is something we can do individually, but God places special importance on believers worshiping together. To encourage unity in worship, our services include both traditional and contemporary music styles.
Our congregation spans a range of ages and backgrounds. Some members are comfortable in jeans, others in suits. Some are members of families connected with Greenisland for a long time; and others are new to the area. But we are all are committed to joyfully worshipping God together.

Children
Children of all ages are very welcome to all services and during the service children are invited into the Parish Centre where members provide creche and Sunday School activities.
Refreshments
After the 10.30a.m. service tea & coffee is served in the Parish Centre. It is a great way to meet new people and further friendships.
Special Services

Weddings
Your wedding is a special even in your life and for that reason it should be memorable. Your plans for the service should reflect that fact and also align with the beliefs and worship practices of the Church of Ireland. Careful planning will ensure that your wedding is meaningful to you, your family, and friends.

Funerals
Funerals at The Church of the Holy Name glorify our loving heavenly Father, honour the person who has passed away, and offer hope to all, regardless of their circumstances. The minister and church members come alongside family and friends who have lost loved ones and show them compassion, comfort, and encouragement.
Baptisms
The birth of a child is a celebration to be shared with the whole church, if you seek God's blessing upon your children we welcome this decision and look forward to introducing the newest member of the church community
